A MOTHER'S TOUCH

I can't wait to join your horse's care team!

Meet Racheal

My name is Racheal and I started A Mother's Touch so that I could pursue my two passions: horses and being a mother. I left my career in the U.S. Army to pursue a certification in equine bodywork. I graduated from The School of Applied Integrative Therapy Equine in July 2025, certifying me to start my practice. I'm currently studying for the National Board for Animal Acupressure and Massage (NBCAAM). While I currently only work on members of the equine family (horses / mules / donkeys / ponies / minis) there is potential for expansion to other pets in the future!

I hold a deep respect for the animals I work with, practice with only the best intentions, and respect boundaries of all parties involved. I use a combination of modalities that include manual/sports massage, myofascial release, pressure points, red light, manual lymph drainage, and energy work. My service is ideal for any horse since massage can help the healing processes post injury, increase circulation to speed up recovery, and help with emotional wellbeing. Massage is also great both before and after a competition for those who pursue a more athletic path. Lastly, the energetic work and soft touch are wonderful ways to bring life and pamper your older steeds.

I can't wait to join your horse's care team!

Photos from the School AIT Live Intensive

The School of Applied Integrative Therapy Equine (School AIT) is a 500 hour course that prepares you to take the National Board for Certified Animal Acupressure and Massage (NBCAAM) test. Part of this training is a 60 hour in-person live intensive training. Here are some photos from the 7 bodywork sessions I did during the 6 days I was there! â€‹(Please don't mind the belly, I've got a bun in the oven!)
